“There is definitely an evolution happening on this second album,” the band said. “We’ve grown so much as musicians and people since we started writing our first album almost three years ago. It seems crazy to say because it feels like yesterday, but time flies when you’re having fun I guess! We’ve had so many experiences these past few years, mostly good and some bad, and they’ve given us a lot to write about.
“You’ll definitely feel a more mature version of Cover Drive through the lyrics and musicality of our new songs but don’t worry, we aren’t abandoning our fun caribbean influences! We still have plenty island vibes on these new records!”
