Kamala Harris became a United States Senator from California in January 2017. From 1990 to 1998 she was a deputy district attorney in Alameda County, California. Some of her stances include supporting Medicare for all, sanctuary cities, the legalization of recreational marijuana, lower taxes for the working and middle class, and passing a DREAM Act.
